I have to start off this post with a major “Wow! What a book!” because this book was quite a read. I was fascinated from beginning to end with the storyline and what would happen to all the characters. It even had one heck of a twist towards the end of the book that made me gasp literally. I was in complete shock at how things turned out because just as you lost all hope at every turn it spun it back to something amazing again and again.
I can honestly say that Leigh Bardugo brought Wonder Woman to life within this story and captured her sense of self completely. I could not have asked for a better storyline or a better Wonder Woman in this book. I was skeptical at first because I was raised on Wonder Woman since she is my mother’s favorite character so my hopes for this book were really high. I can honestly say I will recommend this book to her. Now I will admit this book probably won’t be everyone’s cup of coffee but books are like the many flavors of coffee there is one for everyone.
I rate this book pretty high on my list of books I have read this year. If it wasn’t for bookstagram I probably would not have come across this book until later and what a disappointment that would have been! Until next time!
