Asking for It

Asking 4 It

This book is on rape and was really hard to get through at times. The main character was a popular girl who did what she wanted and was pleased that she was pretty. Then one night at a party ruins everything and now what happened is all over Facebook with a page dedicated just to her. As the story progresses it gets harder and harder to get through. Her issues mentally and with her family grow as time goes on and by the end of the book you just want to help her in every way.

The only issue I had with this book at the beginning was that it almost jumped too much with the cities and countries for you to pin point where it specifically is at in the world. The character went from talking like an American teenager to someone in Ireland. It was almost like the author couldn’t stick to it there for a second and normally I don’t notice things like this. Other than that it was a fantastic book.

I really enjoyed it and I am glad I picked it up. Five out of five stars!
